WhatTimeIsThe answers one question fast: what time does it start? We publish exact start times for the biggest games, shows and events, in Eastern Time first and in your own time zone on every page.

What we cover

  • NFL: every team, every matchup, Thursday, Sunday and Monday Night Football, the playoffs and the Super Bowl.
  • NBA: games tonight and every team schedule.
  • Big sports events: the Grey Cup, college bowl games, March Madness, the Kentucky Derby, the Daytona 500 and more.
  • Entertainment and holidays: the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Rose Parade, the Times Square Ball Drop and award shows such as the Oscars.

What you get on every page

  • The start time in Eastern Time, with Pacific Time beside it.
  • Your own local time, worked out by your browser. We never ask where you are.
  • A live countdown and a one-tap way to add the event to Google, Apple or Outlook calendar.
  • A table of start times across the United States, Canada and the countries where the event has real fans.
  • For games: the venue, TV channel, team records, live scores and the final result.

Who we are

WhatTimeIsThe is an independent website run by the WTIT Time Desk, a small editorial team that researches, checks and updates every page. We are not affiliated with any league, team, network or event organizer. Team and event names belong to their owners and are used only to identify the events we cover.

How we keep times right

Every time comes from an official source: the league, the organizer, the venue or the broadcaster. Game schedules are refreshed automatically several times a day, and live scores update every few minutes during games. When an official time changes, the page changes the same day. You can read the full process in our Editorial Policy.

How the site is funded

WhatTimeIsThe is free to use. It is supported by advertising. Advertisers never decide what we cover or how, and we do not publish betting odds, paid placements or sponsored times.
